Computer Horizons Technician • Team effort; approximately 6 month project, configuring estimated 12,000 laptops to enforce Pfizer Pharmaceutical field sales force. Every Pfizer sales agent receives a customized, personal IBM T42 laptop, with a proper OS Image and Database to optimize the sales efforts of each agent. • Laptops configured from “scratch” by utilizing Symantec Ghost, Bios flashing, and therefore, download the proper OS Image for each sales agent. A proper database, basic territorial data, Oracle and Sybase (XMS) were synchronized individually. • Completed laptops are handed over for quality analysis via QA, QARunner , visual aspects, screen shots, and configuration standards. Correction of issues, errors, and reconfiguration, as discovered and stressed by QA also a team effort.
