Become...Driven! ...With what drives you!

Born in the country of Brazil, state of Rio De Janeiro, named Jose Anibal Lourenco, by US immigrant and Porutugeuse immigrant parents/family. Joe, as nicknamed, settled in the US at a very early age, barely on his 1st grade. Eager to start school, he enrolled on his third day in the US. Not speaking one word of english or yeat accustomed, a stranger in strange land, his desire to learn took off. Prior to college, Joe excelled as a musician. Starting up his own brand of heavy metal music and even as far as opening for the Ramones in NYC. Assisted by his great sister, Maria, a graduate of Columbia University. The gig came with a great success. However, entering college, his desire to learn expanded as he obtained degrees in Music, Political Science, and Computer Science. IT career wise, Joe began as a Web Developer, with basic HTML and front end development. Back end development opportunities then followed, working for banks in NYC. After a period of time off from employment, in which family assistance was needed to care for a member with Breast Cancer, a return to the industry began with Technical work; level 1 Imaging and Configuring, with phone support. Experience and professional certifications later, Level 2 to Level 3 opportunities emerged. Fields in the Legal, Pharmaceutcial, Banking/Financial, and Journalism/Media, are areas of IT knowledge; understanding of the systems these fields use for their own purposes. As valued always, education pursuits continue. At this time, its Microsoft's elite, MCSE. After this goal is obtained, it will be CCNA. Keeping my head up, my sight in my goals, and my mind on focus...goals do come true! With this phrase said, reason why as to my valued in joining any IT group!

 

During college years, after feeling that education alone does not make a man and a deep sense to belong, to belong to a group of self made people, contributors to good, specially with physical, use of one's body, Joe joined the NJ State Fire Department. Graduate and trained at the Earl Naval Academy, Route 33, Freehold, NJ, Joe served at the Robertsville Volunteer Fire Station.  Joe also made committments to the Red Cross and other volunteers groups in his community.
